Minutes

The meeting was called to order at 7:14 with 8 in attendance.  The minutes were read from the August 6th meeting.  John Simanton made a motion for the minutes to be approved.  Tom Hemken seconded the motion and it was unanimously approved.

Discussion on the sign was held.  Laura Mincks said that she could do the artwork.  Tom Hemken said that he would call Cameron Caphart at Quick Signs 534-8640 regarding the templates that may already exists.
 
Discussion on the content of the letter to be sent to the Traffic Dept.  The fence at the house on 10th and Maple was discussed and the need to talk to the property owner about removing it.  Shirley Wilson said that she would look into traffic monitoring equipment.

Laura Mincks brought up a point of order regarding the venue of our meetings saying they should be back at the Woman’s Club unless official notice was given of the change via a neighborhood flyer.  The by laws were read regarding the venue for neighborhood meetings.

The date for the Fall Clean Green Event was discussed.  First choice is November 2 and second choice is October 26.  John Simanton made a motion for the date choices to be approved.  This was seconded by George Pigman and was then unanimously approved.

After the drawing for unknown good stuff the meeting was adjourned.
